What is a UK eVisa and do I need a new photo?
The UK eVisa is the digital immigration status that replaced the physical Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) from late 2024. When applying for or renewing your UK immigration status through the UKVI online portal, you'll need to upload a biometric photo that meets UKVI requirements. The same 35×45mm spec applies as for a UK passport photo.
Can I use my passport photo for a UK visa application?
